Former North Carolina basketball player John Henson took to Twitter on Thursday to criticize the NCAA’s handling of enforcement issues.

Henson, a forward with the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, tweeted about the NCAA from his verified account, using the hashtags #TERRIBLE and #ItsGottaStop.

Two Tar Heels, guards P.J. Hairston and Leslie McDonald, have not played this season for UNC (2-1) while the school and NCAA review their eligibility. Authorities twice cited Hairston during the offseason while he drove rental cars linked to a felon. The school hasn’t specified McDonald's issue, though it sent a letter ordering a company making designer mouth guards to stop using McDonald on its web site over the summer.

The No. 24 Tar Heels face Richmond Saturday in the Tipoff semifinals in Uncasville, Conn. The winner plays the Fairfield-Louisville winner in Sunday’s final.

The Associated Press contributed.
